Sarawak youth coach, Fuad Grbesic has ended his tenure at the Crocs as he bids farewell to his coaching duty last week.
Originally appointed to lead the SUKMA football team of Sarawak, Fuad was also assigned to take over from Robert Alberts as the main head coach of the senior team, upon Robert’s departure in 2015.
Among Fuad’s biggest contribution towards Sarawak football was identifying new talent among Sarawakian football players, as well as steering the Crocs to remain safely in the Liga Super for 2016.
With the SUKMA 2016 already over, Fuad’s departure from the team was seen as likely especially since the new Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) management has made it clear they intend to reduce cost and look into employing more Sarawakians.
We have been informed that Fuad will not immediately leave Kuching, but will leave for Bosnia in the coming days.
