The newly formed Serian Division Football Association (SDFA) remains unsure if they would allow Serian FA to join the third tier Liga FAM.
According to a report by the Utusan Borneo, the decision would only be made after SDFA General Secretary, Phillip Jabu, meets up with the advisor of SDFA Datuk Richard Riot, and it’s president Mcalister Riot.
Serian FA, runner up of the Liga Bolasepak Rakyat Kebangsaan (LBRK), has been automatically invited to join the Liga FAM next season.
However, it is no secret that any participating team in the Liga FAM would need to come up with proper and large financial backing, as well as have a proper venue for both training and competition.
If Serian FA joins The Liga FAM, they will be the third team from Sarawak, playing in the Malaysian League.
