Sarawak has finalized the signing of Ivan Fatic, the Montenegro defender cum midfielder for the coming 2015 season. Ivan has been a favorite to fill in the slot made empty by injured Muamer Salibasic who is yet to sign his contract termination.
The news was made known by Jules Onana, a player agent, which is also believed to be Ivan’s agent.
In a brief statement on Facebook, Jules said that Ivan has signed a contract with Sarawak FA, and that he is unsure of who is happier, Ivan whom has landed a new club, or Robert, whom has signed a quality player. Jules uploaded a photo (seen above) depicting both players smilling and showing off a letter, believed to be the letter signing Ivan at Stadium Negeri.
In a related development, our sources have revealed that outgoing Sarawak striker, Muamer Salibasic is set to settle for a ten month pay parting fee as the Sarawak FA management seek to release the player from his current two year contract. We are however not sure if Muamer will accept this said deal.
Muamer has been attending training despite his injured self until today, with word we heard saying that he is unhappy with the new terms in his release. It is widely speculated that Muamer will be released officially this week, and that he would return to Bosnia immediately to seek treatment for his injury.
