The salary of players for Sarawak FA are late but the Presiden of the Footballl Association of Sarawak, Dato Posa Majais is on top of the issue.
This was made known by Abang Abdul Rahman, the new commercial director of FAS on a FB statement on the official FAS FB page.
According to Abdul Rahman, the association is not hiding the fact paymenr of players have been late, but they are working on it, adding that “it is better for payment to be late, than not at all”.
He further added that finding money to fund the team is not an easy task.
Abdul Rahman’s comments come after a string of social media postings as well as rumours that the salary of Sarawak FA players have not been paid for a few months.
