Looks like some people got their facts wrong, or someone was misquoted.
A very reliable source to us has informed us that Muamer Salibasic has yet to be released by Sarawak FA. The source said that Muamer as of today, is still very much a Sarawak player and he will continue to serve as a Sarawak player until he is officially released.
The source continued to add that no one, on any side has signed any document confirming Muamer’s departure, but the source confirmed that Muamer has been in touch with the management to discuss his future with the Crocs.
According to the source, Muamer’s injury is linked to the mucle tendon hence then long lay-off, but the source added that he believes Muamer will be back in action next season provided he is given proper care by specialist.
The news will most probably be received with mixed reaction following a local paper quoting the Sarawak FA (FAS) as saying the Bosnian’s contract has been terminated.
Muamer has been a very influential figure for the Crocs in 2013 when he led the undefeated Crocs to their first championship in years. In 2014, the 29-year old had to be sidelined for a vast number of games after he obtained a serious injury in the opening Super League game against ATM.
