Former Sarawak FA player, Muamer Salibasic has received a special award for his stint and involvement in promoting sports outside of Srebrenik, Bosnia. According to a press release we read, the organizers are awarding him based on his merit and stint with the Crocs from 2013.
The award ceremony was held on the 26th of December this year at a local hall in Srebrenik.
According to our understanding, the ceremony was organized by the Municipality of Srebrenik Sports Association, with aim to award the best athletes of Srebrenik.
Muamer was an integral part of the Sarawak football team, and was considered one of the best imports by far for the Crocs. During his stint with the Crocs, he led the scoring tally but had a poor season in 2014 due to a long term injury.
His departure from Sarawak was not on the best of terms but the player has said to us at SarawakCrocs.com that he has loves playing for Sarawak and is very sad to have to leave.
