The first day of training saw some familiar faces, but no one expected to see this one particular person, especially after he announced his retirement at the end of the 2015 season.
Sarawak experienced goalkeeper, Aidil Mohammad was back in training yesterday, prompting speculations that the legendary goalkeeper might just be on his way back to the senior squad for the coming season.
Aidil, has been with the Crocs for as long as he played professional football, but found himself largely sidelined when Dutch coach Robert Alberts took over in 2011.
Despite that, the 36-year old goalkeeper however was a leading figure to Sarawak promotion campaign in the 2011 when the Crocs was coached by Haji Zaki then.
The Mukah born goalkeeper made a couple of appearances since 2014, but his gallant performance in 2014 against Terengganu showcased what he can do if given the chance to play top flight football.
The current 2017 Sarawak set-up nonetheless does have room for a returning Aidil, as the Crocs have released their first choice goalkeeper, Iqbal Suhaimi.
