Junior Eldstal announces he is returning to the England

Former Sarawak FA player, Junior Eldstal has made it official that he is leaving Malaysia to go back to England.

Anyway, according to Eldstal, the decision was not easy, but it had to be made following his constant injury problem which had jeopardized his performance as a professional player.

In the video Eldstal however didn’t mention he was retiring from football, stating only that he is returning to the UK to ‘think about his future’.  He also added that he still does not know what the future holds.

Eldstal was brought into Sarawak FA by Robert Alberts in 2013, and helped the East Malaysian side win the Liga Premier that same year.

In 2015, he moved to Johor Darul Ta’zim and represented the Malaysian National team a couple of times. Known as a midfielder, Eldstal was also very useful at the back and scored his only international goal for Malaysia on 14 September 2013.

To Eldstal, we wish him the best of luck for his future endeavors and thank you for playing your heart out for Sarawak and Malaysia.
