Sarawak Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah has stated his willingness to step in to help tackle the crisis surrounding the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) shall he be asked to do so.

Karim who was quoted by Utusan Sarawak said that the issue involving the old and new management of FAS needs to be settled quickly.

He also added that he is still accessing the whole situation and making inquiries in regards to the issue which had started last Sunday after the new FAS management under Dato Posa Majais made an announcement that Sarawak FA might not be able to play football in the Liga Malaysia next season.

FMLLP has responded by saying that Sarawak will be heard during their final appeal of the licensing committee, with FMLLP CEO, Kevin Ramalinggam hinting that a temporary license may be provided for teams that had not obtained the football club license.

Sarawak is expected to settle the issue before the final appeal date which has been scheduled at the end of the month.- SarawakCrocs

  1. Jangan sudah kecoh masuk media baru sibuk tolong. tak kan FAS xda buat rundingan/perbincangan sebelum keluar media. Buat kenyataan seolah2 FAS xprofesional.
