The question of whether current Sarawak head coach, David Usop, would be retained next season now depends on the final game of the Crocs.
According to acting-President of the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) Abdul Wahab, the new exco would only be evaluating David’s position after the last Liga Super game against PDRM at Stadium Negeri.
Abdul Wahab explained that if the management finds Sarawak has progressed well during David’s tenure, it is very likely he would be retained, together with his current coaching staff.
It is believed that Abdul Wahab might be tempted to give David a full hand at the 2017 Sarawak team, knowing that David had carried the current team based on former Sarawak head coach’s player selection, K Rajagobal.
Sarawak are currently safe from relegation, but their last match would determine if they would stay in the Liga Super for another season.
