The Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) will only have a new president next year, after an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) is held.

Acting FAS President, Abdul Wahab Rahim, said that they have several names in mind, and are actively seeking the candidates approval be the new chair of FAS.

Abdul Wahab however added that these names could not be revealed as he doesn’t want the process to be interrupted, with only a confirmed name announced come 2017.

FAS is looking for a new president after Datu Sudarsono decided not to seek reelection last month.

Several names have been linked with the job, but all those mentioned, have either declined or decided not to contest for the top post in Malaysia football.

  1. Hand over apa yang dah di rancang and target oleh team sudarsono to new FAS team sgt penting. Acting presiden msti take full responsbility buat masa tok, harap jgn jadikan absence of presiden jadi excuse team Sarawak x achieve target (apa target season tok pun I’m not sure. Mybe I x dgr bedok). Of course x ada immediate replacement utk post presiden ya is not a good sign for Sarawak football, tapi jgn berputus asa. Hidupkan Sarawak football, make Malaysia proud of Sarawak.
