Robert Alberts has confirmed that Sarawak would not be signing Cameroonian Anicet Eyenga whom joined the Crocs for trials last week.
According to a report by New Sarawak Tribune, Robert turned down Anicet because he felt that the striker is only slightly better than his current foreign striker, Milorad Janjus.
News about Anicet’s possible inclusion with the Crocs alighted last week after the tall 1.9m striker was seen training with the squad, with Akmal Rizal tweeting about his ability during training.
Nonetheless, Anicet failed to impress Robert who is known to be currently on a lookout for new foreign strikers due to his growing list of injured foreign players.
Robert had previously already confirmed the departure of Iranian Alireza Abbasfard, with the Ryan Alan Griffith finally coming to Sarawak after failing to do so during the December transfer window.
