Chris Wood arrives in Kuching, confirming speculation

Highly rated Chritopher Wood aka Chris Wood who was rumoured to be a target of Sarawak FA has finally touched down in Kuching last night, hence confirming rumours that the player might be signed by the Crocs.

According to an online page known as Sarawak Football, Chris was spotted on a flight bound for Kuching, but denied confirming he would be attending trials for Sarawak.

Another posting on social media also revealed that the player is already in Kuching, with not less than one fan taking photo with him upon touch-down.

Regardless, the news of Chris entering Kuching is already huge news for us as not many footballers fly into Kuching just for the sake of a vacation, at least not during this crucial time when the Crocs are looking to sign a new foreign player.

It was also highly rumoured that Chris Wood would cost the Crocs two million ringgit although no concrete information has yet to be revealed.

The 1.91cm-tall Chris, has had stints at the English League, and is a prominent figure in the New Zealand national team. Shall he be signed, he would be replacing the likes of Muamer Salibasic or Milorad Janjus, whom are rumoured to be released when the transfer window opens this 23rd March.
