Bobby Gonzales wins Liga Premier Top Local Scorer Award

The Malaysia National Football Awards¬†last night didn’t leave Sarawak FA empty handed as Sarawak FA player Bobby Gonzales won the Liga Premier Top Local Scorer Award.

The Sabahan struck the back of the net 13 times this season making him the deadliest local player in the Liga Premier.

His achievement comes despite Sarawak FA’s poor performance this season with the Sarawak FA football team, as well as the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) also making headline news for almost everything negative including player bribery claims, mismanagement claims, and threats to sue an indie local football site.

In fact, it does seem that Bobby does have a habit of shinning every time he wears the colours of the Crocs, making an impact back in 2013 as well.

Bobby last night was the sole Sarawak FA player receiving an award at the glittering event with cash rich JDT showing plenty of dominance.

Despite his award, Bobby is however looking for a new club as Posa Majais, president of FAS had decided to remove all the players from the Sarawak FA 2018 team, which included Bobby.
