Three reasons why Tony Fernandes thinks he will never be FAM President

Tony Fernandes who admitted that he would not mind taking up the top post in Malaysian football, shall a serious offer be made, has put breaks to speculations that things might go his way.

According to the owner of English football club Queens Park Ranger (QPR), there are three main reasons why he would not get the job, with his inability to speak Bahasa Malaysia being one of them.

Tony added that the second reason would be the fact he would never get nominated, and the third would relate to the management of the association in which Tony said ‘would never listen to him’.

Recently, news of Tony’s interested in the FAM Presidency made headlines, prompting former Malaysian football coach B Satianathan to release a statement in support of the business tycoon.

Malaysian Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin however asked Tony to refer to the FAM constitution first before wanting the job.
