Former Kedah Darul Aman FC head coach, Aidil Sharin Ishak, is rumored to have signed for Kuching City FC, although the club had denied this.
The 46-year-old Singaporean is said to be keen to work with Kuching, with the club also eager to get him on their side the soonest.
Reports by local media have also surfaced quoting Kuching City CEO Iswandi Ali Hassan as saying that negotiations are on-going and that it is in the final stages.
If everything goes fine, The Cats will be making the official announcement soon.
At the time this article was released, there however hasn’t been any official announcements found.
Prior to this, Aidil was with Singaporean side Home United, before he joined Kedah.
His stints with Kedah in 2019 saw them finish fourth in the Liga Super and become champions of the FA Cup that same year.
Aside from that, Aidil had also brought Kedah to the Piala Malaysia finals and Asia Champions League.
After leaving Kedah, Aidil joined Liga 1 Indonesia side Persikabo 1973 for seven months.
