The Division of Serian is all set to join the second season of the Liga Bolasepak Rakyat (LBR) as those in the football scene at the division start working towards creating a proper organisation to head the team.
The move would pave way for more Bidayuh players to play football at a semi-professional level as the new division is considered one of the heartlands of the Bidayuhs.
According to sources, shall everything fall into place, Serian Division Football Association will be established, under the purview of the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS).
Sarawak in general, has had good success in the LBR as they two representatives from the state had advanced to the semi finals of the competition, with Kuching eventually coming out as champions of the inaugural nation-wide competition.
