Sarawak FA football players are sending strong messages on their social media accounts, hinting that they might not be around with the Crocs next season. It seems that most of those hinting their movements are not local Sarawakian players.
While all the players decline to say anything direct about their career at Stadium Negeri, the fact that these players are posting status updates which, are either thanking fans for being behind them during their time at Sarawak, does speak volumes about the likelihood they might not be around with the Crocs next season, although there has been little news about contract negotiations .
Players such as Ronny Harun and J Partiban on the other hand have chosen to be more subtle in their messages, opting to tell about how they love the game, and would continue playing. Partiban went the extra mile by saying ‘love your job, but not your company’, making speculations high that he may be moving.
Newspaper reports in recent days have suggested that the Crocs are looking at strengthening their team with Sarawakian locals next season, with the new management looking at up to 80 percent locals playing for the Sarawak football team.
This move will most certainly not favour outside players which currently make up to 40 percent of the current team.
