Sarawak FA yesterday announced that the new ‘home’ for the Piala Presiden team would be moved this year to Miri.
The brief statement by the association however failed to mention why such move was taken, and only highlighted that the Miri Stadium had passed as a venue for the competition.
Along side with the announcement was the appointment of the Piala Presiden management team in which Mohd Nazri Datuk Ahmad Lai was appointed as the Piala Presiden Team Manager, Mohd Zaifulfadillah Junaidi was appointed as the Assistant Team Manager.
Also announced was the appointment of Mohamad Saif Jubaidah as the team coordinator for the Piala Presiden team, and Azis Kon as his assistant.
Taking queue from the Football Association of Sarawak’s (FAS) fondness of issuing multiple news at a time, the association also announced that the Piala Belia team would remain in Kuching, and appointed Phillip Jabu as the team manager and Abdillah Majid as the assistant team manager.
