KUCHING – Sarawak FA ensured they would stay on in the Liga Premier next season after they defeated bottom place Terengganu FC II at Stadium Negeri last night.
Sarawak FA won the match through an own goal by Terengganu FA II’s Alif Hassan, a brace from Bobby Gonzales and a goal each from both Mateo Roskam and Dzulazlan Ibrahim to put the score at 5 – 2 favouring Sarawak FA.
The win meant the Sarawak FA would remain in the Liga Premier next year after their bid to immediate return to top flight football went down the drain weeks ago due to poor performance.
With one more game in hand for Sarawak FA, it would be interesting to see if Sarawak FA can end the season on a high note as their next oppponent in Felcra FC isn’t any pushovers.
Regardless, fans of Sarawak FA have every right to enjoy the emphatic 5-2 win last night as it has been quite a while since Sarawak FA won a game. – sarawakcrocs.com
