The Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) has finally broke their silence on the transfer of several key players by confirming several transfer news which has already been reported here such as the transfer of Junior Eldstal to Selangor, S Chanturu to JDT, Sani Anuar to Penang and Rashid Aya to Felda United.
Also confirmed to be leaving the Crocs are Mohd Lot, Mafry Balang, Aidil Mohamad, Akmal Rizal and Reesyafiq Alwi (photo), although the status of Dalgish Papin which was said to be released remains hanging.
FAS has also confirmed that they have retained national players Joseph Kalang, Ashri Chuchu and Hairol Mokhtar, with Ramesh Lai, Ryan Griffith and Gabor Gyepes also extending their stay at Stadium Negeri.
Muamer Salibasic’s status remains uncertain due to his current injury, but it is said that the Bosnian might be dropped if he fails a medical examination which is to be done in Kuala Lumpur. Youngster Shreen Tambi has been promoted from the Sarawak youth system, together with unknown Shameen.
The announcement by FAS however failed to address the status of Ronny Harun, Mazwandy Zakeria, Mohd Dzulfadli Awang Marajeh, Sharol Saperi, Azizan Saperi, Zamri Morshidi and goalkeeper Fadzley Rahim.
