Posa Majais has retained his presidency of the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) after the FAS Annual General Meeting (AGM) ended today. Press release friendly FAS had made it official by issuing one of their signature press releases. The press release said that Posa received unanimous vote of confidence to retain his post for another season.
The decision of FAS exco mebers to vote Posa back in as President of FAS was largely expected by us at SarawakCrocs.
According to the press release, a new Deputy President was selected in the AGM today with Pengeran Dato Daud from Bintulu voted in to replace Razali Dolhan who opted not to defend his post. Daud is said to be a businessman.
For the Vice President post, Serian FA President Phillip Jabu, with Sri Aman Deputy President Abdillah Majid, Miri President Mohd Saif Jubaidi and Limbang President Abdul Ajis Kom Mohamad was also elected.
Also, Jeffry Lana was also reappointed as the General Secretary of FAS.

With the AGM now settled, anticipation now is high on what course FAS would take in the coming days to improve the Sarawak football situation which had been on a decline since 2016.
Fans are urging for massive changes in how the whole Sarawak football scene is managed, with many asking for the Sarawak FA football team to live up to better expectations in the coming years.
