PJ Rangers made it official by announcing the signing of three Sarawakian players namely Tommy Mawat, Shreen Tambi and Nur Shamie Iszuan.
The trio’s move to the Petaling Jaya based football club was no secret after Nur Shamie made it official during an interview with a local newspaper a few days ago.
According to SarawakVoice, former under-23 Malaysia Assistant Coach, who Hassan Sazali Waras signed the trio, as he is now with PJ Rangers himself.
The daily portal also reported that all three players are ecstatic about their move and are looking forward to helping their new club gain promotion to the Liga Premier next season.
PJ Rangers is a professional football club which was formerly known as AirAsia All Stars. Last season, the club rebranded itself and attached itself to Petaling Jaya to make it one of the few community based football clubs in Malaysia.
It is understood that all three players will officially don the red and white colours of the Rangers beginning 1st December.
