New Sarawak FA import said to be ready for 24 May debut

The new Sarawak FA import player, identified as Milos Raickovic is said to be arriving in Kuching on 17 May, with a planned medical to be done a day after.

Shall Milos pass the medical, a source to SarawakCrocs revealed that he would be signed up immediately, allowing him to make a debut in the Liga Super for the Sarawak FA match against Perak FA.

Milos, a defensive midfielder, has never played in Asia before according to online records, making Sarawak FA his first ever team, shall he be signed.

The Montenegro player has spent most of his professional football career in his home country, in which he is a main feature for top of the league Buducnost Podgorica.

His arrival in Kuching has not been confirmed by the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS), but the source that contacted SarawakCrocs with the news is fairly confident he will pass his medical, and will be signed immediately.

The 2017 Malaysian football transfer window opens this 15 May, and ends on June 11.
