Sarawak look to turn the tables in tonight’s clash against East coast Terengganu who beat them soundly in Stadium Negeri last Friday.
The Crocs are desperate to get their form and hope that their new striker imports Ryan Alan Griffith and Hassan Mohammad begin to find their scoring touch which was well praised.
Muamer Salibasic, another foreign import which has been sidelined for ten league matches due to a hamstring injury might also make an appearance from the bench, signalling the desperation faced by Robert Alberts in turning the tides of his team which has since started to slowly fall into the danger zone. Muamer was previously given an ultimatum to either be fit, or be dropped.
But that is not all, the Crocs are expected to include several local boys to cover up the slacking midfield with Sharol Saperi and Ashri Chuchu most probably making the stating line up after weeks being left out.
At defense, strong left back Dzulazlan Ibrahim (photo) might play for Mafry Balang while, with Robert confirmed the change between the goal post, with Fadzley Rahim coming in for Sani Anuar whom has made a little too many errors of late.
The Crocs can also be expected to adopt a different tactical approach as they try to curb the influence of Terengannu’s experienced midfielders with Nor Farhan a man they would closely watch due to his goal-scoring habits.
Up front, Mario Karlovic would again be the man to watch although the likes of Ashaari Shamsudin which was the league’s top scorer in 2010 couldn’t be taken for-granted.
The experienced defence of Terengganu will surely be difficult for Sarawak to penetrate considering most of them do stay back to defend throughout the game, hence providing Robert’s men the challenge of opening the defense line up to score.
This game is a bit loop sided with Terengganu having both statistical and home advantage.
Despite that, the inclusion of several Sarawakian strikers, and the possibility of Muamer making his long awaited appearance might keep the score in Sarawak’s favour.
