The new season of the Malaysia League will begin in February 2019.
A statement by the Malaysia Football League (FML) tonight said that both the Liga Premier and Liga Super would kick off on the first week of February.
MFL has therefore urged teams to make adequate preparations for the new season, and requested teams participating to ensure they spend within their means to avoid unwanted financial burden.
MFL had also advised teams to ensure that the players they (the teams) intend to register for the coming Malaysia League season are capable and of quality.
Sarawak FA will likely register and all new team for 2019 season after the Presiden of the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) Posa Majais made a declaration to disband the 2018 Sarawak FA team at the end of the season.
