Explosive striker, Lukaku who turns 23 this summer, has voiced out his concerns about him never playing in the Champions League. The Everton striker added that he has made it clear that playing in the most prestigious club tournament worldwide is to be “his next step”.
But with his club still lagging behind Manchester City with 13 points at fourth place in the league, a move for Lukaku seems very much possible to enable him to secure his long term goal.
Sources have reported that Lukaku’s father had urged him to move to either Manchester United or Bayern Munich at the end of the season but the Belgian striker has denied that he is not focusing much on that as his now aim to help his team score more goals.
Nonetheless, Lukaku has been quoted as saying that “I have move on, they have move on”, giving many fans a slight hint that Lukaku is looking at joining a team with Champions League potential in the coming future.
