The Cats is using the currently open transfer window to fortify their attacking as they announced the arrival of Abdul Rahim Abdul Razak.
Abdul Rahim is a household name among Sarawakians in particular as the Sarawakian born player had spent most of his years in professional football playing for the now defunct Sarawak FA team, and the struggling Sarawak United.
The 28 year old striker’s peaked when he played for Sarawak FA, but found himself struggling start when he joined Sarawak United.
Despite that, the tall striker who also doubles as winger, is known for his ability to produce speedy runs and cause havoc in his opponents’ goal area and is seen as an interesting addition to Irfan Bakti’s side.
Abdul Rahim is expected to play against Perak on 16 July although he is likely to come in off the bench as The Cats try to improve their fortunes in the Liga Super.
Kuching City now sits at 13th in the Liga Super.
