The Terengganu management is hoping that the a foreign player from Korea would impress Abdul Rahman Ibrahim after they had to terminate the contract of Hassan Moni Chaito.
The player, yet to be known, is set to arrive in Kuala Terengganu this week for a trial with the Turtles, and shall he impress, would be signed as Terengganu’s Asian import during the April transfer window.
Hassan Moni’s contract with Terengganu was terminated after the player picked up a long term injury with the Turtles, prompting the management to look for a replacement player which fits their bill. According to the management, the Turtles are struggling at the moment with only three imports, where as most teams in the Super League make use of the maximum four they can have.
Aside from the said Korean, a few other Asian imports are also on Terengganu’s list, but the management is by far keeping their respective names close to their chest.
