Ong Kim Swee cleared the air over Junior Eldstal’s absence during the national team centralized training in Utusan Malaysia today as he revealed that Junior is currently having a ‘family problem’.
According to the paper, Ong admitted that Junior was still very much in his squad and that Junior was still called to represent Malaysia for the coming friendly against the Philipphines.
Ong added that Junior however requested to report later than required as he needs to iron out some ‘issues’ regarding to his family.
The report carried out by Utusan further elaborated that Junior will report for national duty at anytime this week, hence joining his team mate Ronny Harun who is already in Kuala Lumpur with Harimau Malaya.
Earlier yesterday, it was reported that Junior was dropped from the squad at the very last minute.
