Abdul Jalil Ramli’s boys will entertain PKNP FC for the opening match of the Piala Presiden 2019.
The match will be played at Stadium Bandaraya Miri at 4:15PM on the 21st of February (Thursday).
After the match, Jalil and his boys would travel to Padang Pulapol in Kuala Lumpur to meet PDRM FA on the 25th.
While Sarawak’s Piala Presiden campaign usually doesn’t get much attention from fans, the shift of base to Miri would now enable football fans in Miri to also enjoy the excitement of live action football which caries the brand ‘Sarawak’.
The appointment of Jalil Ramli as head coach of the new Sarawak FA B team (Piala Presiden) had also given more stature to the team with Jalil himself a well known figure among Sarawak football fans.
Sarawak is in Group B of the Piala Presiden 2019.
