Ivan Fatic is a well known footballer in the Serie A league and has played for numerous well known clubs such as Internazionale, Genoa, Cesena, Chievo, Empoli, Verona and Lecce, although his appearance with such clubs has been minimal. According to Wikipedia, Ivan only played once for Internationale and spent most of his days going on loan with lower tier clubs such as Vicenza and Salernitana.
Coming at 1.88m, Ivan spent most of his playing time in Serie B, which is the second tier of the Italian League, and has never played professionally outside of Europe.
The defender is currently in Kuching to impress Robert Alberts, and he looks good to make the cut based on yesterdays performances during his first trial.
Ivan who is just 26 years old, has been without a club since July 1st this year, and he is valued at GBP132,000 (RM696,774). According to Utusan Sarawak, the striker was invited to join the trial for Sarawak.
Being a natural defender, Ivan does not score often but our checks online has revealed that the player is also a national player for his country Montenegro.
Shall Ivan be signed by the Crocs for the coming season, it is likely that Sarawak would be his first Asian team. Aside from Ivan, the trial yesterday was also joined by Kevin Oyakachi, Kwon Jun and José Emilio Furtado.
