With prospective Presidents bowing out of the race even before they were formally announced, the new exco of the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) has decided to keep things mum this time around about their next candidate.
According to SarawakCrocs sources, a new name has been proposed to the ‘highly vacant seat’, but the person will not be announced (or leaked) until the formalities, which include having him commit to the leading FAS be attained.
FAS has announced that they would take seven days to announce their new president, following the General Meeting last two weeks, but their latest candidate, Abdullah Saidol, has publicly declined the offer after consideration.
There has also been considerable effort to request former President, Datu Sudarsono to reconsider the post once again.
Other names thrown in the basket have also declined the post, including Ir Haidel Heli, and James Masing.
