Fans want Makeche retained for next season

A recent poll by SarawakCrocs revealed that some 55 percent, out of a total of 347 respondents, want Sarawak hitman, Ndumba Makeche to be retained by the Crocs for next season.

The Zambian born player is currently Sarawak’s top scorer, and he was signed by former Sarawak head coach, K Rajagobal.

The pool which asked fans to choose which among the four import players should be retained for next season saw Makeche gaining a significant lead in comparison to his team mates, namely Junior Aparecido, Gilmar Silva and Teah Dennis.

Makeche in responding to the poll results, told SarawakCrocs that he is delighted with the outcome of the poll, but stressed that football is a team effort and that he hopes to help Sarawak avoid relegation in the coming two matches.

Understandably, Teah Dennis, scored the lowest in the poll, as he was just signed last June, and is also playing in a less ‘goal scoring position’.

The poll was created by SarawakCrocs considering that Sarawak are likely to make huge changes to their team next season as the Crocs battle to survive the Liga Super this season.
