Robert Alberts has went to the press to show his disappointment of the Lions XII-Sarawak Piala Malaysia tie which is scheduled to be held this coming 18 September 2013 at Stadium Jalan Besar.
According to newspaper sources, Alberts claims that Lions XII has an added advantage with the schedule as they have more time to rest their players in comparison to other teams, including Sarawak which will need to travel to the venue.
Alberts also said that he has asked the Sarawak FA management to send in a formal request to FAM, asking why the fixture was scheduled differently from other Malaysia Cup matches.
The fifth Malaysia Cup fixtures will take place on the 17th of September, leaving the Lions XII-Sarawak FA fixture being the only one played on a Wednesday.
The Crocs are on the verge of breaking into the quarter finals of the Malaysia Cup competition, with only one win standing in their way.
