Hundreds of students of SMK Demak Baru were given a golden opportunity to meet their football heroes this evening with players of the Crocs coming in full force to meet and greet their loving young fans.
Fan favourites such as Joseph Kalang Tie (photo), Gabor Gyepes, Junior Eldstal, Ronny Harun and Muamer Salibasic were immediately mobbed by the massive young crowd as the organizers allowed ample time for the players to have free interaction with their young adoring fans.
Some players were also asked put their autograph on t-shirts and school diaries during the event.
Apart from the players, head coach Robert Alberts and several top officials of the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) were also in the school to join the session.
Information we obtained from third party sources say that the Crocs would be visiting other schools in Kuching in coming weeks with friendly matches scheduled with school players shall the situation permits.
SarawakCrocs.com believes that FAS move to court their younger fans would definitely bring more interest to the game which has seen a revival recently.
