Crocs eyeing former Harimau Muda goalkeeper

News has surfaced that one of T-Team’s current goalkeeper is in talks with the management of Sarawak FA for a move to Stadium Negeri.

No specific name has been mentioned, but T-Team only has three goalkeepers listed in their 2015 squad, namely Wan Muhammad Azraie bin Wan Teh, Mohd Shahril bin Sa’ari and Mohamad Asyraf bin Azmi.

Checks by SarawakCrocs.com have come to a conclusion that Mohd Shahril Saa’ri is the likeliest candidate for a deal with the Crocs as he had stints with Harimau Muda in 2011-2013, a team which was closely monitored by Sarawak new head coach K Rajagobal.

Shahril is no stranger to football in Malaysia, having played with Sabah and Terenganu before. The 25-year old goalkeeper hails from Terengganu and is considered one to the top young goalkeepers in Malaysia.

Despite not having much play time with his former teams, Shahril shined with T-Team last season and his young age would fit rumours that Rajagobal is hunting for young blood to revitalize the Crocs next season.

Shahril has also not renewed his contract at The Titans, prompting speculation to be even greater that he would don the Crocs colours next season.
