Rumours are heavy that former Sarawak player, Bobby Gonzales might be on the move this coming April as fans speculate that the player has been approached by several teams including Sabah FA, to return back to Sabah, but we do not have confirmation on this just yet.
Checks on Bobby’s social media accounts also reveal that Bobby has just regained his fitness and is working hard to break into Perak’s first team. Perak coach M Karathu however in an interview with Sinar Harian, revealed that Bobby was not part of his first team numerous times due to good reasons. Karathu in the interview also acknowledged that fan have been putting pressure on him to play the Sabah born striker.
Bobby is well loved in Sarawak for being part of ‘The Invincibles’ which won Sarawak the Premier League in 2013. His move to PDRM in 2014 was not well received by Sarawak fans especially since Bobby proved to be on form with his new team.
In 2015, Bobby was snapped up by Perak, but has only seen first team action recently despite the league already at its fifth game.
