It is highly said that outgoing Kedah FA top striker, Billy Mehmet would don the black and red stripes next season with the Irishman said to have already agreed on a one year contract with the Crocs.
The 30-year-old striker was released by Kedah FA this season with The Emerald Exiles reporting that Billy was frustrated with Kedah FA who was taking way too long to process his stay with the Canaries.  The inevitable soon came with the Irishman released, and Kedah fans revealing their sadness over his departure.
Prior to Kedah, Billy had played with West Ham United, Perth Glory and Bangkok Glass.
With an impressive 23 goals from 26 appearances under his 2014 Premier League season with Kedah, Billy was said to have been approached by three teams for 2015 with Sarawak FA being one of them.
Today, SarawakCrocs.com has learned that the management of the Crocs has offered the forward a contract, and is likely to be signed as Sarawak’s latest import.
Nonetheless we are not very sure of the details, and efforts to contact Billy himself has not seemed to bear any fruit just yet.
Regardless, there is a huge possibility that Billy is heading to Stadium Negeri, especially since he has already started to follow us (@SarawakCrocs) on twitter (if that can be used as an indication), despite the fact we only tweeted him once.
