Sarawak’s Benedict Martin is reported to be uncertain for the all-important Borneo Derby this weekend.
The match which starts at 4:15PM will pit Sarawak against neighbors Sabah FA.
According to a news report carried out by Utusan Borneo, Benedict is not fully fit after he got himself injured during the last game against Selangor United.
Benedict’s place in the starting line-up for Sarawak this Saturday would therefore depend on a last minute assessment by Sarawak’s medical team.
The experience midfielder, who also can play as a defender, adds to Sarawak’s injury list which is currently growing.
The list currently has two players including Benedict.
Already unavailable is winger Abdul Rahim Abdul Razak who is assured as a non-starter this weekend.
