An all Sarawakian defence line is set to be played tonight after news broke out that Ronny Harun is still injured. It is however not known what is his injury, but sources are saying that Ronny is carrying the same injury he obtained while at training prior to the one week Gawai break.
The news means that Sarawak will be left with a full choice of Sarawakian defenders as another Sabahan defender, Mafry Balang, is also ruled out of this game due to suspension.
Gabor Gyepes, Sarawak’s best defender is still nursing a long-term injury, while Ramesh Lai was reported to be out due to chickenpox yesterday.
That said, the likes of Hairol Mokhtar, Dzulazlan Ibrahim, Dzulfadli Awang Marajeh(photo) and Mazwandy Zakeria, all local Sarawakians, would likely get the nod to start against T-Team with Dzulazlan and Dzulfadli making starting debuts for the season if listed.
Nonetheless, Robert Alberts might just also decide to put midfielder Junior Eldstal at defence considering he has plenty of options in the midfield.
Another player also said to be ruled out for tonight’s game due to injury is Sarawak’s Lebanese import, Hassan Mohamad.
