Goal.com has released news saying that Beijing Baxy attacker Ryan Griffiths (photo above) is due to join Malaysia Super League side Sarawak pending a medical next month.
It is so far uncertain who is the source of Goal.com for the news, but the former Newcastle Jets winger and striker is not without any credentials.
Ryan finished his Beijing Baxy season with nine goals to his goal scoring sheet, although his best goal scoring ability was displayed when he was with unknown Manly-Warringah, in which he scored 12 goals from 15 matches in 2002.
The 32-year old also broke into Autralia’s under-23 squad in 2004, and played for the Socceroos since 2006. Despite his international caps, Ryan has yet to score for his national side.
If it highly unknown if this new signing is true as Goal.com has, in the past, produced news linking Junior Eldstal to JDT, which was heavily denied by the club (JDT).
Nonetheless, shall the news be true, it will be interesting to see what Ryan has to offer the Crocs, especially since he has not tried out for the Crocs.
