The Football Association of Kelantan KAFA) has officially written in to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) about Syahrul Azwari’s case.
KAFA’s General Secretary Datuk Ismail Md Noor said the report was sent in to FAM’s general secretary Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin last Sunday via an email and a formal letter.
Ismail added that KAFA has yet to get a reply and they are waiting for FAM to respond.
He also admitted that he had also advised Syahrul to return to Kelantan when meeting the winger last December 7th.
Syahrul’s case is in the media spotlight after KAFA President Datuk Annuar Musa made claims his transfer to Sarawak was illegal, and it was supported by former KAFA vice president Datuk Takiyuddin.
Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) yesterday had issued an official statement saying they went through the correct channels and that Takiyuddin’s statement was biased and should have not been made.
Meanwhile, Syahrul has been training with the Crocs as usual and is leaving the issue to FAS to handle.
