There was a full house at the Kota Samarahan Indoor stadium yesterday when Sarawak took on Perak in the SUKMA Sarawak futsal match which was played at 5.15PM.
Both teams didn’t dissapoint the crowd as they scored a total of eight goals in the high tempo match, with both sides sharing equal number of goals.
Sarawak also did a come back, coming from behind to tie the game despite being behind 3-1 at one point, and 3-2 at half time.
After the match, credit was given by Sarawak futsal head coach Mohd. Faizal Zamri to the roaring crowd which helped the Sarawak futsal team come-back after trailing 3-1.
“It was difficult for us to score and were behind 3-1, but the supportive crowd enabled us to score.” said Faizal.
The match was the last of the day following a few other matches which were played during the first day of the competition.
