Sharol Saperi will definitely miss out on the season opener after the experienced defensive midfielder went through a small operation this week.
The operation as reported by a local Malay paper, was caused by an injury obtained during the pre-season tour in Indonesia last month.
According to the Malay language daily, Sharol is expected to be out for at least a week, and is further expected to be rested for the Super League opener against ATM FC.
Sharol would also be doubtful when the Crocs play Penang FA at home a few days after the season opener.
