Administrators of website SarawakCrocs.com have finally released their official logo with the help of clothing line Otters Nation.
The new logo shows the an image of the Crocodile, which is the official mascot of the Sarawak football team.
According to a representative from SarawakCrocs.com whom wanted to remain anonymous, the new logo is something they have been wanting to announce since they started in April 2013. The image will also be featured on all SarawakCrocs official merchandise, and this includes the official football scarf which his now on sale at RM35.
He said that the logo was inspired by the Harimau Malaya logo, while citing that the motto of the organisation shall remain as “Demi Ibu Pertiwiku” which means ‘For my motherland” in English.
Commenting on the tagline, the representative said that “It was in line with our struggle to do things for the sake of our state Sarawak, and not for any other reason”, as he added that he wanted to remain anonymous because SarawakCrocs.com wants to operate with little people knowing who really runs the whole thing.
SarawakCrocs.com was established in April 2013 with aim to bring Sarawak football to the greatest heights possible by featuring plenty of news about Sarawak FA. The portal produces news in both Malay and English, and has since been the main source of news on Sarawak football in Malaysia.
To date, it has over 3,000 followers on Twitter, and over 5,000 ‘LIKES’ on Facebook since it started.
