Sarawak’s latest signing, Akmal Rizal has put the Malaysia Cup and the FA Cup as the two main silverware his new team is able to acquire this season.
The Kedah born striker said that both cups could be Sarawak’s this year if all the planning goes well.
When asked about his views of the Crocs in the coming Malaysia Super League, Akmal positively said that the Crocs will be among the title challengers, with teams like ATM, Selangor, Kelantan and JDT competing with them for the top spot.
Akmal is a new signing at Stadium Negeri, and he is expected to fill the void left by Bobby Gonzales whom was released by the Crocs last season.
The 32 year old will have a lot to prove with some critics already saying he has lost his scoring touch.
