The Group B Malaysia Cup match between Sarawak and Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) which was scheduled this coming 26th September has been moved to an undecided date.
The reschedule was due to JDT’s involvement in the AFC Cup, which is considered a priority compared to the domestic Malaysia Cup.
In the AFC Cup, JDT created history by being the first ever Malaysian football team to qualify for the semi-finals which will see them being pitted against defending champions Qadsia SC from Kuwait.
The semi-finals will be played on 29th September and 20th October this year, and the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) is keen to give JDT enough time to prepare for the regional competition.
