Sarawak FA ended their tour in Indonesia with a defeat to Persipam Madura. It is unknown who scored the goals however as details were not informed to SarawakCrocs.com by representatives of Sarawak FA.
The defeat meant that Sarawak didn’t obtain favorable results in Indonesia after they only managed one win out of all the games scheduled.
Regardless of that, midfielder Sharol Saperi commented that the pre-season in Indonesia was an eye-opener, and that the team learned a lot in Indonesia. His words echoes a recent statement by fitness coach, Azley Abdullah who said that results in the pre-season are not important.
Sarawak return to Kuching today, with another friendly scheduled against rivals Sabah FA at Stadium Negeri this coming Monday (23 December 2013).
