It was reported by Astro Arena that Mateo Roskam claimed that he had an injury ahead of last Kedah vs Sarawak match.
The injury claim pushed Sarawak head coach, David Usop to replace Mateo Roskam with young striker, Abdul Rahim instead.
The absence of Mateo Roskam throughout the match was well felt, as Sarawak fall short, beaten by Kedah, 3-2, which sent David Usop disappointed.
David Usop also looked to play Mateo Roskam at the second half of the game, but cancelled his intentions as Mateo was already wearing foot braces.
Further MRI scan is scheduled in Kuching to determined the severity of Roskam’s injury. If the injury claim found to be false, David and FAS surely will not hesitate to take immediate, possibly disciplinary action on Roskam.
